Student’s Reflection

Participating in this project provided me with an opportunity to apply the knowledge I
have acquired in school. While school primarily focuses on theoretical subjects, this project
allowed us to translate theoretical understanding into practical application in the real world.
Additionally, it enabled us to develop essential collaboration skills by working closely with
both the business owner and the insulation vendor during the project. Overall, I found the
project to be highly beneficial, offering insights and experiences that surpass those of typical
                                     school projects.

My journey with the NYAA project has been enriching, offering numerous learning opportunities
that I have embraced wholeheartedly. One notable experience was devising a solution to
mitigate heat from the dryers by applying insulation around them and meticulously comparing
data before and after implementation. However, one significant challenge I encountered was
ensuring the precise alignment of the dryer designs with their respective measurements.
Despite the hurdles, the journey culminated in success, yielding fruitful outcomes. Participating
in the NYAA project has been a gratifying and successful endeavour.
