Wood Used for Base Support

            Wooden planks are affixed to the base of completed refrigeration units to serve as support during transportation, as shown in
            Figure 3. These planks rest on the forks of forklift trucks, providing stability and damping capacity to ensure secure transport.

            Wood possesses excellent damping capacity, contributing to stability during transportation. However, after usage, the
            wooden planks are disposed of by customers rather than recovered. The annual carbon emission for this practice (shown in
            Table 2) = 135000 kg x 1.8 kgCO2/kg = 243,000 kgCO2
