10.7.2 Greasing the reduction gear
Introduce the lubricant into the grease nipples as in-
dicated in the figure. Grease after the first 50 hours of
use and then every 100 hours. Use 80 g of lubricant.
10.8 Maintenance prior to long-term
storage
Before storing the appliance for a long period, it is
recommended that the outside of the appliance is
cleaned carefully, and the checks and maintenance
operations listed and described in this chapter are
carried out:
– clean the outside of the appliance
– clean the electric panel filter
– clean the planetary and planets
– check the splash guard and replace if necessary
– grease the planetary arms, the reduction gear and
the carriage
– sharpening the tools.
Make sure that all the operations to be carried out
before storage have been completed. See section “
Storage” on page 23.
l NOTICE
Before putting the appliance away for
storage, check that the caster wheel is
fitted to avoid damaging the planetary,
which remains in contact with the floor.
