Extended Recess for Schools

Do you think schools should have extended recess time? I don’t think schools should have extended
recess time. If you want to know why I think this? Well then, read this to find out!
My first reason I don’t think schools should have extended recess time is because students go to school
to learn things, not to have recess time. Extended recess makes academics time a little shorter. In my
opinion, academics are more important to me because learning can be fun sometimes.
My second reason I don’t think schools should have extended recess time is because extended recess
time can get students focused on only recess time then on other things. My school has twenty-five
minutes of recess and in my opinion, I think that is enough recess time because students need time for
education and school is not somewhere for play time, it is a place for learning and education.
My third reason I don’t think schools should have extended recess time is because extended recess can
get very distracting for students. In my class when recess is over, the kids start screaming and acting like
it is still recess time. It puts pressure under the teachers too because they have to quiet down their
students.
I strongly suggest schools not having extended recess time is better for students and teachers. That is
why I chose to write about this topic. Schools are better off this way. So schools that have extended
recess time, I would suggest they stop this habit.

For lunch, I see hot dog with a bun

It’s like going to Paris and going to Mars
I really like to shimmer and shine
Like how some people really like wine
I’m outstanding the way I am
Like how people like the book, Green Eggs and Ham
I like to wander and walk
I even like to really talk
So when people ask me how was my day
I’ll say, I’m happy cause, I got an A
My teachers, friends and family adore me
But some people might even ignore me
When I look outside, and the snow is cold
Some fruits, even have mold
I can get really sad
I also can get really mad
So why don’t we stroll through the park
Watching a dog make its mark
We’ll sit under the shade
Maybe grab a lemonade
We can be cool
We can be at the pool
I’m who I want to be
You don’t have to be like me
So a star is born
It can never be torn
