Now” and that fulfillment in life can be
attained from the pleasures that the world
has to offer. They endlessly ride the
“merry-go-round” of constant activities
and entertainment that always end up
where they begin — with a void and
emptiness in one’s eternal soul, making it
necessary to board the merry-go-round
again for another temporary thrill.
And even many professing Christians
who live in unrepentant sin, rather than
repent and forsake their sins, they look for
relief from a guilty conscience by seeking
momentary (and often monetary) carnal
and superficial pleasures through an
