expressed simply by a deep-down peace,
thrill, and contentment of soul that can
sometimes provoke envy from unbelievers
and perplex the unfulfilled pleasure-seeker.
Ecclesiastes 2:26 says, “For God giveth to a
man that is good in his sight wisdom, and
knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he
giveth travail...”
Fulfillment in life and true joy will never
be realized until we live our lives for
God’s purposes and God’s pleasure,
which begins when we repent of sin and
receive a new and Godly nature by trusting
in God’s provision for forgiveness of sins
through the death, burial, and resurrection
of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
