have overcome the world.” So we have all

these verses on peace. And, again, we're going

to look at a lot of them tonight.

Also, in Colossians chapter 1, verses 20

through 23, we find that through Jesus' blood,

we have peace with God and we've been

reconciled unto God. We also find in Ephesians

2, verse 14, that Jesus is our peace, that is, Jew

and Gentile that have been placed in the same

body; so there's peace now between believers,

between Jew and Gentile. Romans 5:1 says

that we have peace with God through our Lord

Jesus Christ. That's salvation. And the Bible

says in Philippians 4:7 that we can have the

peace of God that passes all understanding; in

other words, there's no peace for the world,

but you and I as Christians have peace. In
