The Lordship of Jesus Christ
Turn with me now to Acts chapter 2. I'm
going to briefly go through this because,
again, that was my sermon about ten years
ago, and the article dealing with this is on
the table. As we come to Acts chapter 2,
this is Peter’s first sermon that he preaches
at Pentecost, and that is given to us
beginning in verse 14, and in verse 21, he
says, “…whosoever shall call on the name of
the Lord shall be saved.” In verses 16
through 19 Peter is preaching the gospel,
and then, of course, verse 38 says, “Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of
