is due, whether it be an emperor or a king,
and we know that Jesus Christ is the King of
Kings and Lord of Lords.
The word “Lord” is found about 700
times in the New Testament, while the word
“Savior” is found only 37 times in the entire
Bible. In the book of Acts the word “Lord”
is seen nearly 100 times, while Savior only
twice. So what are we saying? In every
passage in the New Testament where the
words “Lord and Savior” are used together,
it is always “Lord and Savior” and not
“Savior and Lord.” Now, that may not mean
a whole lot, but it means a little bit. In other
words, in one camp they say that you can
receive Jesus Christ as your Savior — a fire
