today. Lord, we pray that you would teach us.
We pray that you would lead and guide us in
truth. Lord, help us to rightly divide the Word
of Truth, for we ask all of these things in Jesus
Christ's name, we pray, Amen.
You may be seated. Now, I'm going to just
kind of make a few comments about the
context in just a moment, but I want to begin
our message this morning on apostasy out of 2
Thessalonians, chapter 2, reading in verse 3.
And, again, I'll make a comment or two on the
context in just a moment. The apostle Paul said
in verse 3, “And let no man deceive you by any
means for that day shall not come except there
come a falling away first . . .” Now, the Greek
word that's translated “falling away” appears, I
believe, twice in the Word of God. I believe it
