prepared for a Christ-rejecting world?

Rather than suffer persecution for

righteousness’ sake and for identifying

with Christ, they’ll try to blend in with

the unbelieving world because they’re

not used to suffering even in the

slightest way for their Christian faith.

And because they’re used to having fun

as a Christian, when the church can no

longer provide fun that’s exciting

enough for them, many times they’ll

seek to satisfy those cravings for

excitement by dabbling in the ungodly

pleasures and activities that the world

offers.

To follow Christ is not to be a fun-

seeker. Isaiah 53:3 describes our
