their children are being taught God’s
Word by someone who gives evidence
of being a born-again Christian, teaches
sound doctrine, and holds the Word of
God in high esteem.
From what I’ve observed from working
with children, though, most parents
today seem to think that they have
fulfilled their responsibility before God
if their children simply attend church.
They seem to be concerned only about
whether or not their children have fun
at church so that their children will
want to continue attending. They don’t
seem to want their children to get “too
serious” about the Christian life
