abandoning God and not retaining Him in
their knowledge, and then God abandons
them and turns them over to their
depravity.
Uncleanness is a broad word that covers
all kinds and types of sexual immorality that
violates the seventh commandment in Exodus
20:14, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
Marriage is a creation ordinance that's
repeated again in the book of Exodus, so
when we talk about uncleanness — that
which is impure, that which is defiled, that
which is morally unclean — it would include
adultery, fornication, prostitution, incest,
