them up to uncleanness through the lusts of
their own hearts. God is pulling back His
restraints, and He's allowing them to walk in
their depravity and to dishonor their bodies
between themselves. And why did God give
them up to uncleanness? Because of
idolatry, because of apostasy, and because
they had rejected the Word of God. They
had rejected God Himself. Sin begins by
rejecting truth. It begins in the heart and it
manifests itself in the flesh, Matthew 15:19.
They were not willing to retain God in their
knowledge. So if we want to gauge where
America is at today, let's not gauge it upon
the economy, the size of our military, the
largeness of our population and things of
that nature. Listen. Gauge it upon what
