God gave them up to uncleanness

Let's get into our first point. Verse 24

says, “Wherefore God also gave them up to

uncleanness through the lusts of their own

hearts, to dishonour their own bodies

between themselves.” The first thing that we

find is that God gave them up to

uncleanness, that is, sexual immorality. As

we look through the Scripture, we find that

there is a connection and a link between

apostasy and immorality and between

idolatry and immorality. Now, here in verse

24 is the evidence of divine abandonment.
