Although all Christians go through a spiritual

growth process after becoming a born again

child of God and Christians are at different

stages of that process, a truly born again

Christian will abhor sin and mortify the

sinful deeds of the old, unregenerate

lifestyle. But from my observation of many

professing Christians, when around

unbelievers outside the church building and

apart from church-related programs and

activities, many show no distinct difference

from unbelievers in their conversation,

conduct, and worldly interests and even try

to justify and excuse their sinful conversation

and behavior. In fact, they don’t even seem
