home and had very little experience in
church life. I just assumed that all those
who attended the church in which I was
saved were born-again children of God. I
expected the personal lives of those who
attended my church to comply with what
they represented themselves to be while in
church (not an unreasonable expectation, I
might add!).
In New Testament times, Jesus called those
people hypocrites who did not “walk the
talk,” and He warned of serious
consequences for hypocrisy. And what’s so
sad in 21st Century church life is that most
churches accommodate these pseudo
Christians by entertaining them with
worldly-style entertainment and activities
