Romans 8:9 tells us that “if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
It’s very possible that multitudes of
“churchy” people have never experienced
the “power thereof" because regeneration
has not taken place in the heart and soul.
When the Holy Spirit regenerates and
indwells a person, that person will
progressively exhibit holiness and Godly
behavior in daily life and will be deeply
grieved if he or she sins.
Second Timothy 3:5 goes on to say that true
believers are to “turn away” from or have
no fellowship with professing Christians
who simply have an outward form of
godliness (they “act” like Christians while in
