participating in church life, that person

should not be kept by any other means

(including providing social activities and

worldly entertainment). A large part of the

reason that churches are full of

unregenerate people is because churches

are “bending over backwards” to both draw

and keep people in the church by

attempting to appeal to and satisfy the

desires of the flesh. God does not draw true

seekers by using carnal allurements;

therefore, those who attend a church to

find a social outlet or to be entertained or to

satisfy carnal desires are not those who

have been drawn by God, and only those

drawn by God’s Spirit will be truly saved by
