person’s heart, and He knows those who are

truly His. The Apostle Paul told Timothy in 2

Timothy 2:19, “The Lord knoweth them that

are his. And, Let every one that nameth the

name of Christ depart from iniquity." Those

who are true Christians are to forsake sin,

not indulge in it nor excuse it, and 1 John

3:6-10 and Romans 6:1-2 make it very clear

as to how believers ought to relate to sin in

their lives and sin in the world.

“Be Ye Holy; For I Am Holy”

1 Peter 2:16

First Thessalonians 4:7 says, “For God hath

not called us unto uncleanness, but unto

holiness.” When I became a Christian (over

40 years ago now at the time of this writing),
