Spirit in order to be saved. Romans 10:10

tells us that it is “with the heart man

believeth unto righteousness.” The “heart”

of a person is the total makeup of that

person – the mind, emotions, and the will.

True conversion cannot be humanly

manipulated (even by repeating “the sinner’s

prayer”) but takes place only when a person

responds in faith and repentance to the

drawing of God’s Holy Spirit through the

preaching of the cross (Jn. 6:44, 1 Cor. 1:18

& Rom. 1:16).

Harden Not Your Heart

God also led me to Scripture that talks about

hearing the Word of God and that when we

hear God's Word, we're not to harden our
