love of the truth, that they might be saved.”

It is interesting to note that those who are

deceived by the Antichrist are those who

evidently have been exposed to God’s Truth

or at least God’s Truth has been accessible

to them. Because of their rejection of Truth,

verse 11 says, “And for this cause God shall

send them strong delusion, that they should

believe a lie: That they all might be damned

who believed not the truth, but had

pleasure in unrighteousness.”

A person can “go through the motions” of

church life and even feign belief in God’s

Word, but God knows what goes on in a
