but they show no evidence of the presence
of the Holy Spirit in their lives by living a
consistent Godly lifestyle. To live a
consistent Godly lifestyle is not to live a life
of “sinless perfection” but to continue to
repent and forsake sin as the Holy Spirit
reveals sinful behavior through the study of
God’s Word and thus becoming more
conformed to the likeness of Christ in
conversation and lifestyle.
Even when I was a new Christian, I almost
immediately had run-ins with those who
professed to be Christians but whose
personal lives did not back up their
profession. I was not raised in a Christian
