weakness and obtundation. A large, well‐
defined mass is present within the third ventri-
cle (a–d: arrow), and generalized hydrocephalus
is present (a–d: arrowheads). A solitary third
ventricle choroid plexus carcinoma was con-
firmed on postmortem examination. There was
no evidence of overt obstruction, which led to a
presumptive diagnosis of overproduction
hydrocephalus.
