We say “I” when we are the subject.
If it is two people, we still say “I.”
“I made an appointment.” “Mike and I arranged the meeting.”

We say “me” when we are the object
                                     or receiving the action.

“Jan gave it to Mike and me.”

These words are often misused. If you are unsure,
remove the other person and see how it sounds.

We always say the other person first.

Incorrect: “Me and Mike arranged the meeting.”
Correct: “(Mike and) I arranged the meeting.”
Incorrect: Please give it to Mike and I.”
Correct: “Please give it to (Mike and) me.”
