FORGOTTEN AND FULFILLED
Memories. Those are one of the greatest things we are gifted with. One that
fills us with great jubilation. Or at least that is what Julio thought as he went
through a dusty old photobook of him and his brothers. With a winning smile
on his face, his eyes lost in the crinkles that his wide smile had created. But
after turning a page, his smile instantly fell. It was a roughly made drawing
of a girl he had made as a kid, trying his best to remake her warm look and
comforting smile. She wasn’t any ordinary girl. His eyes started running wild as
he staggered behind, memories buried deep inside his brain running free in front
of his eyes.
With eyes big and mouth agape in astonishment ,little Julio stared at his brother,
Jacob, while Jacob looked back at Julio in confusion, wondering why Julio was
acting crazy. This wasn’t the first time Julio had seen that, it was probably the
fifth or sixth time since it had started, but it made Julio excited all the same.
While Julio had been playing with Jacob, the white mist suddenly surrounded him.
She was there.
