 quoting Gemara Sotah (12a) “Rebbe Yirmiyah Ben Abba said that    :).במ הטוֹס( וּרְמאו .)'א קרֶפּ( וּהיִּלא יבדּ אנָתבּ אָתיִאֶשׁ וֹמכוּ

 four categories of people will never merit to see G-d's radiance…the

 category of people who speak Lashon Hara,” as David HaMelech    ירְֵפּסְמ תכּ 'וּכו הניִכְשׁ ינְפּ תוֹלבּקְַמ ןיא תוֹתִּכּ עבּרְא
 says in Tehilim (5:5) “because You are a G-d who will not tolerate    עַשׁרֶ ץפח לא אלֹ יִכּ" :)'ה 'ה םיִלִּהְתּ( ביִתכדּ ,ערָה ןוֹשׁל

                                                         ִ
                                                        ְ
                                                                ָ
                                                                      ָ
 evil, wickedness cannot live with You.”

                                 ."ערָ ךָרְגי אלֹ הָתּא

 Therefore, someone who lives with this terrible character trait of
 “informing” does not follow in the ways of Hashem, whose sole

 Therefore this person is called “Ra \ evil” and so he also violates    ,וֹכְּפהל הֶשׂוֹע אוּהו ,וֹתלוּזל ביִטיהל קרַ אוּהֶשׁ ,'ה יכרְדַבּ

 this Aseh.

 We  have  now  discussed  fourteen  Aseen  that  are  violated  by
                                         ַ
 the person who speaks Lashon Hara or gossip in addition to the   .ןכּ םגּ וֹז הֵשֲׂע
                                     ֵ
 seventeen Laveen that were identified above.  Even though not all
 of them are violated each time someone speaks Lashon Hara or    םהילֲע רֹבֲעל ןיִליגרְֶשׁ ,הֵשֲׂע תוֹצִמ ד"י וּנבַשִּׁחֶשׁ ירֲֵה

 Rechilut, still someone who speaks Lashon Hara or Rechilut, G-d

                                                   ָ

                         ָ
 forbid, will eventually come to transgress all of these Laveen and    .ל"נּה ןיואל ז"יִמ דבל ,תוּליִכרְוּ ערָה ןוֹשׁל רוּפִּס ידֵי לע
 Aseen.  Because at some time this person will come to speak Lashon

 Hara against an aged person, and sometimes against a Chacham.      שׁיִאבּ אוֹבל לוֹכי ןיא ןיִשׂע ד"יו ןיואל ז"יה לכֶּשׁ ףאו
 Sometimes this person will degrade them when they are present    יִמ  ןכ  יִפּ  לע  ףא  ,ןיּעְמל  ראֹבְמכּ  ,דחא  רוּפִּסבוּ  דחא
