 is  called  a  mumar  (4),  an  apostate  because  he  denies  this  one    ,הזבּ אצוֹיּכו "רוֹאמּה תרַוֹנְמ"וּ "תוֹבבלּה תוֹבוֹח" ןוֹגכּ
 commandment  since at the moment that he could have held back    ,אוּה ךְוּרבּ שׁוֹדקּה לֶשׁ וֹתארְי םדאה בבלִבּ םיִסינכמּה

 is cursed with the  same severity as someone who denies the entire

 (36a)  that  the  word  “cursed”  includes  “damned  and  repudiated”

 everyone who knows that he has not been careful to avoid this bitter
 Mekor Hachayim  what is written in the Sefer Chareidim regarding degrading one’s    וּהיִּלא תוֹנְשִׁבּ ל"ז א"רָגּה בַתכֶּשׁ וֹמכּ תוֹצִמ תוֹאֵמ המּכּ

 There are several other evil things that can evolve from this profound

 sin of Lashon Hara such as terrible cruelty and anger which are

 themselves  profound  sins,  as  Chazal  stated  in  Gemara  Shabbat

               הֵשֲׂע תוצִמ לוּטִּבּ לֶשׁ תוֹנוֲֹע םיִפלא המּכּ וּנסנכִה םדּגנכוּ

                                                      ַ
                                                          ְ

 (105b).  Often this kind of speech can lead to mockery and cynicism

 and other similarly bad character traits.

 Lashon Hara or gossip.  The Torah therefore illustrated this esur and
