16. Custom aluminum 6061 plates

Specifications:

Aluminum 6061 plates, 100 mm x 60 mm x 4 mm – 4 pieces
Aluminum 6061 plates, 100 mm x 155 mm x 8 mm – 2 pieces

Material Characteristic:
• Undergoes machining processes including drilling, threading, milling

• Sandpapered to fine surface after machining processes are done

• 4 thin plates for frontal roller support, 2 thick plate for rear roller support

Usage Rational:

6061 aluminum alloy has a very high tensile strength, and is very suitable to be
machined even with very tight distances. We obtained the raw aluminum plates,

then machined them to what the dyno requires. The plates are drawn with holes
generated by virtual drawing software such as AutoDESK Inventor, as a blueprint

to be used during the machining process. Once these plates are completely
machined, then only all the physical components can be mounted onto the plates.
