Page 20 - DYNO TTRAINER
P. 20
Specifications:
2-pin, 8 mm diameter universal toggle switch – 3 pieces
Material Characteristic:
• Given screw at both pin ends, another connecting option other than soldering
• Removable label piece
• Circuit diagram drawn below to show users normally-on, normally-off
Usage Rational:
As described before, this current dyno prototype will have test runs with varying
loads. To control these varying loads, a few methods could be used, for example
numerically and mechanically. Though our primary plan is to route the electronics
of the dyno so the varying loads can be controlled numerically by computer outputs,
mechanical switches are also inserted into the system in the case where numerical
controllers cannot function. It is a back-up option, where varying load test runs can
still be conducted by manual alteration, when numerical controls have failed,
although the circuit must be reconfigured to use these switches. A 2-pin toggle
switch gives it only 2 options of operation that is, whether to only be on or off.
