18. Black polycarbonate board

Specifications:

Black polycarbonate board, 300 mm x 200 mm x 3 mm – 1 piece
Black polycarbonate board, 376 mm x 82 mm x 3 mm – 1 piece

Material Characteristic:

• One-side coarse, another fine

• Easily melted with instantaneous heat

• High resistance towards static weight
Usage Rational:

A plastic board has a better potential than a metal board as it is meant for only
mounting electronic components, and protecting purposes only. A metal board

would be an overkill, besides being costly and hard to machine. The bigger board

is slid inside the base frame to mount electronics on, by drilling holes in the board
at precise locations; while the smaller one covers the electronics from above by

screwing it together to the aluminum plates.
