Here you can plainly see the wound on Goliath's flank, by
now much reduced in size.
The two horses became firm favourites of all our helpers
and visitors although we took some stick from “do
gooders” passing by in their flash cars who never
bothered to pay and come for a visit or support us, but
quite often reported us to the RSPCA for allowing such
an “emaciated” and obviously bony horse to be in our
care!
The local RSPCA inspector became a frequent visitor
himself consequent to this and we became very friendly
eventually!
