Part used tubes of E45 cream and jars of some thing else
etc., that could not be reused on another patient due to
the regulations, found there way to us rather than just be
thrown away. That kind of thing was always useful for
horses and of course they needed larger “dollops” of the
stuff.

When talking to him one day, the subject of Prednisalone
came up and he asked me how much we paid for the
tablets.

At that time we were using the equivalent of over 1400 -
5 milligram tablets a week and paying substantially less
than the hospital had to pay for what they used, which
was far far less!!
