            fitted and replacing his own Goodyear Tyres. I was driving the
            delivery lorry for these excursions!






































               Stan, (right) our Staff Lincolnshire Field technical engineer
            and good friend, with Ron Knight at Great Casterton.


               This was all before the original oil crisis in the very early
            1970’s when ‘real inflation’ began.
               Very good wages at this time remember were in the region
            of £25 to £30 per week and petrol was still just something over
            five shillings a gallon.
