Drawbar trailer coupling and uncoupling

When coupling Draw Bar Trailer

1. Ensure the Trailer Brake is applied on the Trailer
2. Reverse up to the trailer hitch stopping approx. 1
meter away
3. Ensure that the coupling is at the correct height and
the red button is depressed.
4. Slowly reverse onto the trailer hitch
5. Check the trailer is securely attached by driving
forward
6. Connect all services including the Anderson lead to
provide power to the trailer legs
7. Release the Draw Bar lock and slowly
driver forward the extend the draw bar
8. Engage the draw bar lock, check
warning lamp in cab is green (locked )
9. Check all lights, number plates and
complete Daily Check before driving on
public highway
10. Raise legs and remove the Anderson
Lead
