Cab lockers (Everything Goes in?)
Read this, as it could save your life!
The locker storage space inside the cabs of AMS Ltd vehicles are to be used for a driver’s
personal effects only. Please keep them clean and tidy
Under no circumstances are the lockers to be used for the storage for any chemicals such
as;
• Engine oil
• Hydraulic oil
• Antifreeze
• Bitumen Release Agents such as T99 or Bituslide
• AdBlue
• Screen wash
Leakage of such chemicals in the locker can lead to cross contamination, damage to the
vehicle and yourself if they come into contact with your skin or by inhalation of fumes from
the chemicals.
If you find chemicals are being stored in your vehicle you must remove them immediately
and raise this as a near miss on Evalu-8 via the relevant QR Code. Near miss forms can be
obtained at any AMS Ltd site or office by asking a member of staff.
