Cleaning Plant and Equipment







            Osrel Truck wash and Equipment Cleaner will be available at each TJ waste site

            This solution is used to remove concrete from ready mix vehicles and is a very strong
            product as such the following procedures and safety advice must be followed to the rule.

            The PPE required when using OSREL

                   Safety glasses and Full Face Visor

                    Paper suit (with high vis vest over the top)

                    Nitrile Gloves (Not general purpose gloves)
                   Dust Mask
                   Including all regular PPE


            Procedures for use:

                    Put on the agreed PPE (above) and ensure that the site Foreman is made aware that you are
                    using OSREL.
                    Ensure that you use a large shallow bucket or drum that your long-handled brush can fit inside
                    easily without risk of tipping over during use.
                    Fill the shallow bucket to the level mark with clean water on a solid flat surface (the floor)
                    Remove cap from the OSREL TRUCK WASH and place the measuring jug on an absorbent mat
                    then measure the desired quantity of OSREL and pour into the water.
                    Dilution ratio of 70% water 30% Osrel is desired.
                    With a long-handled brush start to wash the machine, you will see this product eat into the
                    dirt, apply and brush then leave for a short while.
                    DO NOT LET THIS DRY ON THE MACHINE
                    You will have to wash and rinse with clean water after every couple of panels are covered
                    Continue around machine until the wash down is completed

                    Rinse whole machine again with clean water.
                    Dispose of paper suits after completion

                     If exposure to skin occurs during use, then wash immediately with plenty of clean water

            Failure  to  follow  these  procedures  will  result  in  disciplinary  procedures  being  taken
            against you as we need to ensure you are taking care of your own and your colleagues’
            safety.
