39 Yapton Spray Booth
Partial enclosures (such as the Yapton spray booth) retain the contaminant cloud by inward airflow through
the enclosure’s open face, drawing the cloud towards the hood extraction point.
Where the source or process produces a contaminant cloud which moves in a defined direction at high
speeds:
• the employee will make use of a jig or turntable to limit the potential for the employee to direct the
contaminant cloud out of the partial enclosure;
• the correct working positions should be followed as illustrated above.
