The questions stated on the back of this document are to be followed and answered whilst carrying
out your fire damper installation. It is important that your drop test report is photographed, and
findings documented.
Remember:
➢ You are there to carry out a mechanical drop test on a fire damper.
➢ If you are unsure of any of your finding s, then you must contact your project manager in
charge of the job.
➢ A fire damper can still pass a drop test even if it contains tec screws, however the discovery
of Tec screws must be photographed and recorded with in your report/.
