cardio workout in itself even though
it’s a downhill portion of the hike.
When you get to the level portion, the
trail continues and there’s a little used
trail that goes down the bank to reach
the parking lot. Arrive back at your car
knowing you’ve done a good job and
had a great cardio workout.

Getting There:
To get to this trail, take
State Route 157, Kyle
Canyon Road, until you
get to the roundabout at
the new visitor center.
Take the first right of the
roundabout and drive to
the new parking lot. There
are rest rooms and plenty
of parking.
