You have read in the President’s Letter the benefits of membership. How do we reach prospective members?
Through recruiting tables at various venues, word of mouth to friends, family and people you meet along life’s
journey, gift memberships and volunteer work events to name a few. It is volunteer recruiters who give their time
to represent Friends and encourage interest in our organization and add new members along the way.

Meet four of our wonderful recruiters.

This is Marilyn and Rob Tuvell
They have been members since April 2009 and have
been volunteering since joining Friends.

They enjoy the diversity of visitors to Red Rock
Canyon and have become dependable recruiters.
Serving at the recruitment table gives them an oppor-
tunity to speak with visitors from all over the world.
It gets better when they sign up a new member.

Marilyn and Rob were part of the Ambassador Pro-
gram and are willing workers for helping the Product
Team with special projects

This is Kathy James and Sharyn Cochran

Kathy joined Friends in November
2011 and Sharyn joined in February
2008.

They are quite a duo on the member-
ship table. Like the Tuvell’s, they
enjoy the dialogue with local, na-
tional and international visitors.

It is great that they readily volun-
teer to be on the quarterly recruit-
ing schedule. Kathy joined espe-
cially to serve as a recruiter.

A happy day is made happier
