The goal is to deliver impactful corporate learning practices that play a vital role in networking
effectively and creating high performance teams.
This practice also:
● Provides students with an insight into the leadership traits for the corporate world.
● Provides students with a practical and real-world perspective on different roles
required to be in organizations
● Prepares the students to learn about the day-to-day workings required for an
organization and understand its operational issues.
● Provides opportunity to students for experiential learning through outbound activities
● Gives confidence and high esteem
● Assists students to realize their potentials
● Develops intellectual abilities, leadership qualities and traits.
The Context:
The outbound learning activity was initiated and sustained as one of the experiential methods
of innovative teaching practices as it gives the learner an opportunity to experience, review
and reflect, draw learning on a reflective method, apply and test what is learnt through review
& reflect on the experimentation.
The Practice:
Vishwa Spandhana activity offered by the Human Network Working Academy of the University
is to meet the challenges of life and develop intellectual abilities. These qualities are imparted
through structured out-bound learning experiences. Outbound Learning also helps students to
overcome fear, create an urge to do, kindle fire to perform and test and enhance self- esteem.
Our OBL activity is based on the philosophy that ‘Nature is the Best Teacher’. Activities like
Mountaineering, Rappelling, and Team building games form an integral part of our training
programme. Additional activities like Jungle Trek, Night Trek Hill Climbing, White water
Rafting, Para Sailing and Micro light flying too are conducted regularly.
