Title of the Practice: LEAD Program

      Objectives of the Practice:


      LEAD  is  the  structured  and  branded  upskilling  program  with  the  objective  of  enhancing

      employability and augmenting academic learning. The LEAD program is conceived as a bridge to
      enable smooth transition from campus to corporate. LEAD is an acronym, which stands for ‘Learn,

      Enable Advance and Develop’. This is a holistic skill development program, which promises to
      offer the necessary skills to prepare our students to be globally relevant and develop future ready

      skills in the market.

          •  Enable student with tools and practices

          •  Advance our students career by building a culture of renewed vigor and innovation

          •  Develop our students holistically to suit their future roles and aspirations

      The  LEAD  Program  covers  Six  Competencies  –  Collaboration,  Communication,  Collection  of
      Information, Creativity, Critical Thinking, and Character building, further broken down into three

      overarching skills

              •  Employability Skills
              •  Aptitude Skills

              •  Soft Skills

      The Actual Practice:
      Structure of LEAD:

      The LEAD program is designed to enhance and upskill the students of CMS Business School on a)

      Aptitude  tests,  b)  Soft  skills  and  c)  Employability  skills.  It  is  a  structured  65-hours  program
      spanning across 3 semesters.


          1.  Scheduling of contact hours: The training and contact hours have been woven into the

              regular academic time-table.

          2.  Evaluation and categorization: Students are assessed on each of these skill sets, based on
              which a combined Employability Readiness (ER) score is generated.

      The ER score is applied for categorizing students into 3 groups.

          •  Category A (Employability Readiness score: > 80%)
          •  Category B (Employability Readiness score: >50% and < 80%)
