Life Skills English 2

This course is designed to build upon the fundamentals of writing skills obtained in English 1. Students will complete reports and learn
to write stories, letters, business documents and different essays. Students will gain skills in revising and editing their work. Students
will also read American literature. Placement is recommended by the IEP team.

Students learn how to write business letters, memos, resumes, and to fill out related forms. Students create a portfolio which includes:
resume, business letter, a project based on their community service, work experience, and a vocational journal. Placement is
recommended by the IEP team.
