This course addresses a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional design issues. This type of design involves purposeful decision-
making about how to use the elements and principles of art in an integrative way. The variety of art forms include graphic design,
typography, digital imaging, photography, collage, fabric design, weaving, illustration, painting and printmaking. A variety of
approaches of representation, abstraction, and expression are covered.
