 • Side 2 , fold 3 (inside, right panel): list of other products you
sell or available varieties or colors

 • Side 1, fold 2 (back): two options-can be filled, or can be left
almost blank Gust your return address and phone number) for
an address in case the piece is ever mailed

 • Side 1 , fold 3 (piece tucked inside): more photos and customer
    endorsements

This is one of many options. Start by making a list of everything
you want to include-your pitch, your competitive advantages, your
contact information, photos, and so on. Then fit the puzzle pieces
together on a qUick mockup you make yourself. You'll find you may
need more or less text and can fix it accordingly. You want to get
your message across but you don't want the reader turned off if he
has to read tiny type or if it looks disorganized and cluttered.

Once you have a working sample, your graphic designer can cre
ate it electronically and polish it off using the same colors and fonts
as the rest of your branding material . Your designer can e-mail or
upload the high resolution files directly to your printer who is sup
plying your letterhead and business cards.

                         Marketing Mailers/Postcards

You should also consider making postcards, which are especially
useful as a direct-mail piece to send to small retailers. You can fit a
few key pieces of information on them and they are relatively inex
pensive to print and mail. They come in various sizes, but 5" x 7" is
probably the most common.

You can send out the postcards by themselves, or include them
in your press kits as well. Postcards are useful at trade shows too,
because they can serve as a color brochure with a pricelist on the
back. They are less expensive than giving away press kits and
easier for buyers to handle. Buyers receive so much information at
shows that it is beneficial to hand them just one piece that has a
picture of your product, some pricing information, and your contact
