2 1 4 Your Idea, I nc.

The first priority is sensible shoes. Be fashionable, but trust me,
choose comfort over style. At every show, inevitably, I see a woman
wearing pointy-toed stiletto heels. She's usually limping around by
hour five of the first day. If at all possible, don't buy new shoes for
the occasion. Bring some shoes you know are comfortable that look
professional and clean.

Once you have your comfortable shoes (and extra Band-Aids just
in case), focus on your outfit. The attire depends on the show. For

length of the show is not always easy, but you have to do it. You'll
need plenty of inner strength. By the last part of the first day, you
still have to look fresh whether you have had much traffic in your
booth or not, or even written an order. Take a deep breath and keep
your hopes up. Be prepared with your own mantras (positive say
ings) that you can repeat to yourself to bring your mind back to that
positive, happy place.

If you're not alone manning the booth, leave for a bit and walk
around, take deep breaths, stretch a little, and return refreshed. If
you are alone, you can usually walk up and down your aisle to take
