Sauerkraut	Chicken	With	Panko	Breadcrumbs

	
Ingredients	and	Prep:
1	tablespoon	of	chicken	base.
2	tablespoon	of	paprika.
2	tablespoon	of	honey.
2	tablespoons	of	butter.
4-6	tablespoons	of	oil.
1	cup	of	water.
1	cup	of	panko	breadcrumbs	(see	the	next	recipe.)	2	cups	of	sauerkraut.
2	beaten	eggs	combined	with	2	tablespoons	of	water.
2	small	shallots,	chopped.
2	bay	leaves.
4	boneless,	skinless	chicken	breasts.
6	slices	of	bacon,	chopped.
8	medium	mushrooms,	sliced.
Salt	and	pepper.
	
	
Cooking	Directions:
Pound	the	chicken	breasts	until	they're	approximately	1/4-inch	thick.
Preheat	a	large	fry	pan	to	medium-high	heat.
Add	4	tablespoons	of	oil;	use	more	if	necessary.
Dip	chicken	into	panko,	then	dip	into	the	egg	mixture,	and	lastly,	dip	the
chicken	back	into	the	panko.
Fry	the	chicken	for	approximately	10	minutes.	The	chicken	should	be
completely	cooked	and	browned	on	both	sides.
If	desired,	add	a	bit	of	salt	and	pepper	to	taste.
Remove	the	chicken	from	the	heat	and	place	inside	a	dish.
Place	the	chicken	in	the	oven	to	keep	it	warm.
Place	shallots	and	bacon	in	the	pan.
Cook	for	approximately	2	to	3	minutes.
Add	the	sliced	mushrooms.
Continue	cooking	for	approximately	5	to	8	minutes.
Add	butter,	sauerkraut,	bay	leaves,	paprika,	sugar	or	honey,	water	and
