Spicy	Orange	Beef	Strips

	

Ingredients	and	Prep:
1/2	tablespoon	of	crushed	red	pepper	flakes.
1/2	tablespoon	of	ground	ginger.
2	tablespoons	of	sesame	oil.
2	tablespoons	of	cornstarch.
2	cloves	of	minced	garlic.
1/4	cup	of	sherry.
1/4	cup	of	orange	marmalade.
1	cup	of	beef	broth.
1	cup	of	chopped	green	onions.
1	pound	of	round	steak.
Wild	rice.
	

	

Cooking	Directions:
Slice	the	beef	into	thin	strips.
Pour	oil	into	the	wok	or	pan	and	place	it	over	medium-high	heat.
Place	the	beef	strips	in	the	wok	or	pan.
Stir	fry	for	approximately	3	minutes.	The	beef	strips	must	be	well-
browned.
Stir	in	onions	and	cook	until	soft.
Add	the	ginger	and	garlic.
Stir	fry	for	approximately	1	minute.
Mix	cornstarch,	marmalade,	red	pepper,	cornstarch,	broth	and	sherry.
Stir	the	mixture	into	the	beef.
Boil	the	beef	and	other	components	over	medium	heat	for	approximately
one	minute.
Remove	from	the	heat	and	add	the	vegetables	before	serving.

You	may	opt	to	use	a	beef	stock	cube	dissolved	in	water	in	place	of	beef
broth.
You	can	substitute	sesame	oil	with	cold-pressed	sunflower	oil.
