Hash	Brown	Beef	Dish	(GF)

	

Ingredients	and	Prep:
1/4	cup	of	tomato	passata.
2	cups	of	frozen	hash	brown	potatoes	OR	4	diced	potatoes.
1	diced	onion.
1	chopped	green	pepper.
2	cloves	diced	garlic.
1	can	mushroom	soup.
1	pound	ground	beef.
Grated	cheddar.
Black	pepper	and	salt.
	

	

Cooking	Directions:
If	you're	using	fresh	potatoes	for	this	dish,	dice	and	boil.
Combine	the	beef,	onions,	garlic	and	pepper	in	pan.
Cook	the	meat	and	vegetables	over	medium-high	heat.
Stir	frequently	and	pay	special	attention	to	ensure	all	large	meat	clumps
are	broken	up.
Remove	the	pan	from	the	heat	and	drain	away	the	fat.
Replace	the	pan	on	the	heat	and	add	the	seasonings,	soup	and	tomato
passata.
Stir	well	and	bring	to	a	boil.		
Add	the	potatoes.
Simmer	for	approximately	10	minutes.	The	potatoes	must	be	soft	and
tender	and	you'll	want	to	simmer	off	the	excess	liquid.
Spoon	into	a	serving	dish.
Sprinkle	cheese	over	the	top	and	allow	it	to	melt	before	serving.

Serve	this	dish	with	a	side	salad.	
You	may	opt	to	substitute	tomato	passata	with	tomato	paste,	which	must
be	mixed	with	1/2	cup	of	water.
Use	taco	seasonings	for		bit	of	extra	spice	in	this	dish.
